Shakti in the Mountains is not only a place where women can gather in community - it also is a place where women can connect with themselves.  Located in an historic neighborhood, Shakti in the Mountains occupies a warm, sunny space in downtown Johnson City, TN.  At any time, you will find a wide selection of individual services, classes and workshops designed to nurture your life and increase personal fullfillment. Operating on the philosophy that when women are healthy (physically, mentally, emotionally & spiritually) they create a life filled with meaning and purpose - Shakti in the Mountains approaches women's health holistically and creatively. We believe that women are multi-faceted beings who know what is best for them and who enjoy exploring and transforming their lives.
